Crochet Granny Square For Beginners. Step by Step Guide.
Today we are going to learn a very easy Granny Square Pattern that can be used for crochet bags, cardi, afghans or anything you have in mind. For this sample I am using acrylic yarn and 5 mm crochet hook. Pattern We are going to start with Magic Ring. Row1: Ch3 dc, (Ch3, 2 dc)*3, join with (Ch1, yarn over, pull through all 3 loops on the hook. Row2: Ch3, 1 dc, (2 dc, (2dc, ch2, 2dc into same chain space))*3 times, join with (Ch1, yarn over, pull through all 3 loops on the hook. Row3: Ch3, dc, Ch2, (skip 2 st, 4 dc, (2dc, ch2, 2dc into same chain space))*3 I the next rows you must put 2 dc where you skipped 2 stitches, chain 2 and skip next 2 stitches.
