How to make a magic ring/ amigurumi circle /magic circle

There are several ways to make a ring in crocheting. The most classic is  to join  a chain in a circle. However, this option is not suitable if you need to remove the hole in the center of the ring.

In this case, the so-called "magic ring" comes to the rescue.

The picture on the left shows a ring, the beginning of which was a chain, and on the right - a magic ring. As you can see, there is no hole in the center at all.

The idea of the method is that the initial row is crochet into a ring formed from yarn. Then it tightens without leaving any visible hole.

Description.

Place the  yarn  over your index and middle fingers. Wrap it once around your fingers.
Pinch the intersection of the working yarn and the tail with your index and thumb.

Insert the hook into the resulting ring and pull out the working yarn, forming a loop.

Grab the working yarn and pull it through the loop on the hook.

Insert the hook into the ring, pull out the thread.

Grab the working yarn and pull it through the two loops on the hook. The result is a single crochet.

Now you can make 6 single crochet in case you need 6 for the pattern you follow.

Pull the tail and the ring will close. You can now start row 2 or slip stitch depending on the pattern.
